Ink & Sticker Material Innovation Open Call

Description:

Adorna is seeking to create an all natural plant-based water solvable sticky paper & to print designs using all pure soy FDA-approved ink. The Adorna team is looking to replace its use of regular printer ink and the use of the Sulky Paper Solvy™ Water Soluble Embroidery Stabilizer to switch to 100% plant based naturally derived renewable energy materials. We are highly interested in collaborating with material science specialists to create this eco-friendly material for our community.

The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in material science, lead in creative innovation projects. In your research you will partner in this collaboration with the Adorna team to learn the users needs and how it uses the product to best inform you on how the material is used.

Challenge:

  • must be 100% naturally derived plant based materials

  • no synthetics, no artificial materials, no use of petroleum

  • paper must stick onto fabric and dissolve in water and be able to print onto using pure soy FDA-approved ink

Biodegradable Material Consultation

Description:

As a key to keep Adorna materials sustainable and plastic-free, the brand is looking to learn from experts of biodegradable alternatives for its packing and marketing materials. In this consultation, Adorna is looking to learn specifically of eco-friendly card stock paper, eco-printer ink, and 4” x 6” eco-protective closure bags.
